First Place Commercial Space

Urban Contempory
French Country
Traditional Antique Pine

The diversity of client needs and employee needs was the leading challenge in this project, which led to a variety of styles and finishes throughout the space. In addition to being a cabinetry showroom and design studio, the space will be used for occasional culinary classes; which includes the requirement for a large island and professional, functioning appliances. Elements such as high tech audio-visual capabilities, privacy needs for meetings, and enough seating for the growing staff were accommodated by the incorporation of a private conference room to meet the staff's needs. In order to meet the clients' needs and differing lifestyles, cabinetry was displayed in alternative as well as a traditional manner.

In addition to showroom space, the project required careful planning of offices for the management team, a bookkeeper, and design staff, as well as an area for plotting, faxing, and receiving mail in close proximity to the offices.
