Refrigerator
The inspiration for this kitchen was the client’s desire for a red kitchen. Settling on a color their designer refers to as pomegranate red, they incorporated other colors including Tuscan Sunflower and Olive Green. A built-in refrigerator with a matching wood front, flat screen television and convection microwave create a great looking wall while providing great function.

Range/Island
Old World, Hacienda Style, Tuscan, Rustic are some of the descriptions that express the desired look. Walls are painted in Golden Fleece. Cabinetry was literally painted, scraped and painted again to create the look of 200 year old painted antiques. Hardware is hand-forged iron. The existing wood floors were maintained as the perfect backdrop to the color palette.

Professional Range
The custom hood is fabricated and faux finished to look like solid concrete which is mounted over a professional quality dual-fuel range. Countertops are made of granite with a full bullnose edge. The island top is Alder butcher block, fabricated in Denmark. The three-dimensional basket weave backsplash material is made from limestone.
