About Our Company
When founder Elizabeth Spengler relocated from Madison Wisconsin in 1989, she had just sold an interior design practice called Interiors, Inc. which she successfully ran for 10 years. After a short amount of time working for others, she realized that Tucson was primed for a high-end, full service kitchen and bath company. In 1990, Dorado Designs, Inc. was formed. Intent on servicing the high-end market and local design professionals, we decided in 1992 to locate our showroom in the foothills at Swan and Sunrise. Due to rapid growth in the northwest side of Tucson, the decision was made to relocate to Oro Valley in August of 2004.
Today Dorado Designs is in a class all its own. Our offerings include lines ranging from upper middle to top of the line, hand crafted work. Our staff is outstanding in the education, experience and knowledge that they all bring to the table…from the best designers and high quality craftsmen to the ones that keep everything straight internally. The customer comes first with everyone here. It has always been and will always be that way.
